I found the breakfast had many tasty choices. I appreciated that dinner was an option in the restaurant. The hotel provides easy access to the train. It runs to the city center in about 20 minutes.
The steep walk from the tram stop to the hotel was challenging. It felt longer than fifteen minutes.

My room included a comfortable bed, aiding restful sleep. The bathroom featured a floor-even shower. Individually controlled HVAC was unavailable. The temperature adjustment was limited, and the ventilation ran constantly, made the air dry.

the standard double room had a comfy bed! and a good shower ensuite? i was on the fifth floor and had a balcony. the balcony showed a panoramic view of the fjord. breakfast was lovely and i could sit near a big window with the same amazing view.
the dinner menu was good though slightly limited. the restaurant charged high prices for the food!

the staff was consistently helpful, and also friendly? i had no issues at all? they even managed to cope well with the ski festival weekend.

), and of course, it was fully booked upon arrival. this meant no swimming for me . also, the restaurant menu felt quite limited, and i ended up having to travel elsewhere for more appealing options. this wasn't ideal after a long day.
